With self tape auditions and everyone having the same traditional backdrop colors (ie: the dark blue), these backgrounds pop, flatter lots of different skin tones and don't distract from auditions. They help viewers focus on the important thing: our acting! Great price too!

These clips are great for use with the tripod stand to attach a variety of backgrounds pop ups. They are more solid than other clips I have tried. Great value

Really good quality backdrop for the price. The colors are MUCH more complimentary to skin tones than traditional dark blue backdrops.
Self tapes aren't going away and these are great for home studio use. Very happy!

Haven't used for a self-tape yet, but the set up is quick and features of the light kit are way more than I expected for the price.

I was hosting a virtual fundraising gala for a nonprofit performing arts group. The organization was providing VIP guests with special gift bags. Theatrik has assembled a wonderful self tape kit. It’s easy to use, it looks great, and what I love is that it comes with its on storage case so you can put it away. I’ve got a one year old and if I leave anything out he’s going to tear it down and swallow it.

I've done a lot of author school visits online this year (and I expect even when we get back to normal, they'll stay pretty common), and this light set was fantastic. I'm going to use it all the time. I haven't needed to prerecord a visit yet, but I'm already thrilled to have the phone extension ready when I need it. It's a great kit- I even love the carrying/storage case!

I had originally bought a stand through Amazon for my backdrop, but it was so complicated and didn't ever work well (my backdrop was always slightly lopsided). So, I was incredibly excited when I saw this clip along with the large backdrop stand. I received my purchase within ONE day of ordering, it was simple to put up and worked instantly! So, instead of the five sub-par clips that I had bought on Amazon, along with a stand that never held up my backdrop, this one clip held the whole thing up within 30 seconds of assembling. I can't believe the quality of this light kit given its price. Solid construction. Easy to adjust brightness and color temp. Perfect for a home studio.

I was a little skeptical when I purchased... seemed a little too good to be true for the price. But I've been using this to teach college courses online during the morning and afternoon and to record instruction videos at 11PM and I am impressed. Easy to set up. User friendly and intuitive. Easy to manipulate the lighting warmth or coolness. The tripod has weight and substance and won't tip over like so many other "professional" tripods. You don't get that ring light reflection in your eyes and can bend the lights however you want. Combined with the overhead light in my room, I was able to make it look like I was sitting in front of a big picture window with the natural light of midday when it was actually 11PM at night! I haven't had the usual issue of running out of battery when recording but will be grateful for the usb plug in on the tripod when that happens... and it WILL happen! Nor have I tested out the remote control with my phone camera but look forward to that feature. The whole set up is worth it even without those added features.
